Near the shore of Maine’s Highland Lake, the Hotel Bridgton is a 65-room boutique property intended to honor the communal spirit of its small-town setting, fuel local economic development, and position the 5,400-person town of Bridgton as a true four-season destination in the state’s Lakes Region.

The 44,000-square-foot property is designed to create the mood of a lakeside retreat. In addition to an emphasis on local craftsmanship and the integration of regional art, the project will include amenities such as riverfront green space with active and passive uses, a bar and related F&B services, and an event space.

Hotel Bridgton will also prioritize sustainability including through the use of natural materials and an onsite solar array to offset the high energy demands inherent to hospitality uses.

The interiors are by Maine firm JBrice Design International, and the Portland group Barba + Wheelock Architects also consulted on the design alongside TAT.
