The residential buildings utilize strong massing changes with bays and top-floor set backs, as well as more subtle design touches, such as variety in the window muntins, to help break down the scale of the two buildings, each topping 350,000 gsf.

The façade of the two buildings complements each other – while simultaneously standing out – utilizing a shared neutral palette with a strong accent color. Dark grey recesses contrast with the lighter colored bays, emphasizing the smaller masses and creating a more pedestrian scale. The retail ‘farmhouses’ allow the program change to stand out and identify itself to the passerby.

With a total of 450 units, Alexan Harrison offers a mix of studios, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, each with 9-foot ceilings and open floor plans. Select units feature private balconies or townhome-style direct entries that activate the central drive and enhance the community’s streetscape.

At the heart of each building, a 10,000-sf clubhouse anchors an amenity-rich landscape. Residents enjoy access to two resort-style pools, a wellness center, a game room, dog wash and park, community garden beds, and outdoor cooking spaces, including pizza ovens.

A scenic walking path loops throughout the site, reinforcing a sense of place. The development is perfectly positioned in proximity to Wegmans grocery, public transit, and a Lifetime Fitness, allowing for impressive walkability in such a suburban area.
