St. Aidan’s

The design involved the historic conversion of St. Aidan’s Church, the former John F. Kennedy Baptismal, into nine market rate condominiums and the master plan and redevelopment of adjacent land into a mixed-income residential community.

This smart growth development includes the construction of three new buildings on the site comprised of rental, first-time homebuyer, and market rate units. Recognizing a significant cultural icon in the neighborhood, the firm, in collaboration with Antonio Di Mambro + Associates, organized its thoughtful plan around the church, using it to form a courtyard bordered by the new buildings.
